They provide constantly updated information filtered to meet precise needs, accompanied by tools to aid direct engagement with ministers, parliamentarians, journalists and the public. Reporting to the Head of Client Development the Account Development Manager will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition to exceed short and long-term business and profit objectives, through consultative face-to-face and telephone sales methods. In addition, you will build strong, loyal customer relationships at an operational and senior level within key prospects, developing extensive knowledge of their businesses, key processes and profit drivers. You will also set and deliver the revocation strategy on cancelled and vulnerable accounts and feed into the company-wide strategy on product innovation and service improvements to drive revenue.

You will have demonstrable commercial experience in using consultative selling methods within a commercial environment and have a good understanding of the public affairs industry and UK parliamentary procedure. You will also have strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills, specifically good communication, clear presentation and the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of seniority.
