Account Manager £30,000 Basic £39,000 OTE London Ref. 1130
Our client is a rapidly developing company in the business of providing financial information, growing at 30-40% per annum. Working from a position of market leadership in the UK and Europe the company’s strategy is to develop its brand globally and dramatically increase its business worldwide. Working on a global scale with global investment banks, fund managers, exchanges, data vendors and the media, its mission is to become the leading provider of financial data worldwide over the next few years.

As Account Manager you will be responsible for achieving an account retention level of at least 90%, as well as growing traffic to our client’s website from existing corporate clients. You will also be responsible for cultivating and maintaining business relationships with current clients in the corporate and advisory sector, resulting in ongoing and increased revenue from our client’s content solutions. In addition you will renegotiate renewal contracts; project manage the ‘roll out’ of content solutions and organise and/or attend open days, training events and conferences.

You will have demonstrable account management experience, ideally gained from working in a solution-based, consultative environment, coupled with strong time management, organisational and follow-up skills. You will be a team player with the ability to work with sales, operations, finance and support teams to continually improve account management processes and methodologies. As an excellent communicator you will possess strong written, verbal and presentation skills and have excellent task and time management skills. Your industry knowledge and strong commercial awareness are matched by your strong customer focus. Some travel may be required.
