Our client combines expert national, regional and sector market intelligence, analysis and robust data-driven forecasts for senior management, as well as comprehensive, up-to-date construction project leads and company intelligence for sales and marketing teams.

Reporting to the Managing Director the Business Development Manager will be responsible for uncovering new business opportunities and for driving new business revenue, both from within the construction industry as well as from sectors outside of and serving the construction industry. In addition, you will generate new business through phone calls, sales visits, presentations, referrals and networking.

Educated to degree level or equivalent you will have a demonstrable track record in a business-to-business sales environment, including the sale of complex solutions with sophisticated decision-making structures. You will have excellent written, oral and presentation skills, as well as extensive face-to-face and telephone sales experience, which includes successful lead generation and winning new business. In addition you will ideally have experience of working within the construction industry or public sector.
