| Sales Career Opportunities Strategic Business Development Manager £26,000 Basic £40,000 OTE London Ref. 1157 Reporting to the Head of Corporate Sales the Strategic Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing existing and new business related to the business-to-business sale of digital content across a portfolio of small to medium enterprise accounts in the Corporate and Advisory sector. You will also develop and refine sales strategies in order to grow renewal and new business revenue. In addition, you will manage the renewal of assigned accounts and the complete sales cycle from prospect through to contract stage. Furthermore you will analyse the prospect base, looking for gaps in accounts or prospects lists and manage documentation of all sales activity. You will have demonstrable experience in solution-based and new business sales in the business-to-business/online information industry, with a proven track record in delivering against revenue-based targets. You will also have experience of managing ‘high volume, low touch’ transactions. You will possess excellent consultative, negotiating, presentation and communication skills and have the ability to use influencing strategies to gain commitment. This role requires some travel.
