Our client is a leader in professional publishing and a provider of pioneering online and software solutions. Reporting to the Head of Customer Group (small law and sole practitioners) the Telesales Account Manager will be responsible for proactively selling products to both existing and new customers over the telephone in order to achieve and exceed revenue and other performance targets. You will also achieve KPIs related to production penetration within the Customer Group and respond to leads generated by marketing activity and convert these prospects into sales. In addition you will negotiate and agree commercially sound contracts for existing and new customers and work effectively alongside other stakeholder departments (e.g. publishing, operations, marketing, training, customer services and credit control), in order to drive an integrated approach to customer care and to ensure that market needs are met.

You will have demonstrable experience of winning new business from existing and new customers gained from working in a competitive, commercially driven environment. You will also have a proven track record of over-achievement in sales. Furthermore you will possess a demonstrable ability to segment a large number of accounts and work in a self-sufficient and independent manner. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and ideally will have experience of working with or selling to law firms, combined with knowledge and understanding of the legal market.
