| Sales Career Opportunities Account Development Manager £40,000 Basic £60,000 OTE London Ref. 1168 Reporting to the Commercial Director the Account Development Manager will be responsible for ensuring that targeted retention levels and targeted yield increases are achieved through up-selling and cross-selling. You will also work with the Political Research team to ensure that customer expectations are consistently met and exceeded. Having direct client-facing responsibility for your portfolio of clients you will be expected to report to the Commercial Director on the progress of revocation and to forecast the likelihood of customer renewals. In addition you will feed into the company-wide strategy on product innovation and service improvements, in order to drive revenue and you will lead on the delivery of specific product development projects. You will have demonstrable account management experience gained from a business-to-business sales environment and have an excellent understanding of the business information arena. You will also have demonstrable commercial experience in a political/public affairs setting or a subscription-based information organisation combined with a detailed understanding of the Public Affairs industry. You will possess strong customer-facing skills combined with excellent communication and presentation skills, having the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of seniority.
