Reporting to the Commercial Director the Account Development Manager will be responsible for achieving targeted retention levels and targeted yield increases across a designated customer portfolio. You will also drive new customer acquisitions to exceed short and long-term business and profit objectives. In addition you will build strong and loyal customer relationships at both operational and senior level within key prospects, developing extensive knowledge of their businesses, their key processes and their profit drivers. You will be responsible for setting and delivering the revocation strategy on cancelled and vulnerable accounts and you will ensure that fixed-term contracts are signed for all renewed and new customers.

You will have demonstrable sales experience or equivalent commercial experience, using consultative selling methods within a commercial environment combined with a thorough understanding of the business information arena. You will possess a detailed understanding of the Public Affairs industry and UK parliamentary procedures. You will possess strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills combined with excellent communication and presentation skills, having the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of seniority.
