The Business Development Manager (Investment Banking), is responsible for managing the complete solutions sales cycle, from the target stage through to the contract stage and delivery, and must identify and present appropriate solutions to customers and prospects, and ensure that proposed solutions are architecturally sound, by working closely with Solution Architects, as necessary, on integrated solutions. You will also identify and analyse underlying customer business and sales issues in order to match the appropriate Investment Banking solution/technology to the customers’ requirements.

Educated to degree level, or equivalent, you will have demonstrable solution sales or consulting experience in the financial services industry, with a strong working knowledge of the Investment Banking segment. You will also have experience in selling news and/or client relationship tools to senior business decision makers. You will possess an understanding of the Internet and intranet applications and emerging web technologies and industry trends. You will also have the ability to effectively present complex solutions in a customer-facing environment using a communication style appropriate to the audience.
