Senior Sales Executive £65,000 Basic £120,000 OTE London Ref. 1136
Our client is a leading global provider of financial market data, analytics and related solutions to financial institutions, active traders and individual investors, providing real-time market data, time-sensitive pricing, evaluations and reference data for millions of securities traded around the world, including hard-to-value instruments. Our client sells subscriptions to many of the world’s best-known financial service and software companies in support of their trading, analysis, portfolio management and valuation activities.

Reporting to the Sales Manager (EMEA) the Senior Sales Executive will be in charge of both an existing client base and a new business territory within the UK, with the potential to cover other geographical areas, and will be responsible for generating new business sales from within the defined territory and against a monthly target. You will also identify and close new business opportunities, develop existing relationships and deal with 1 and 2 tier accounts.

You will have demonstrable experience of consistently exceeding sales targets within a financial sales environment and ideally have experience of desktop terminal sales with a primary focus on the energy, commodities and futures arena. You will possess exceptional communication, reporting, presentation, negotiation and organisational skills and have the ability to interact at a senior level within client organisations. European languages are a distinct advantage.
