| Senior Career Opportunities Business Development Manager £40,000 Basic £70,000 OTE London Ref. 1137 As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing new business related to the business-to-business sale of digital content across a portfolio of regional and global key accounts. You will also develop and refine sales strategies in order to grow new business revenue. In addition, you will manage the complete sales cycle from prospect through to contract stage and maintain a close liaison with account management colleagues, particularly during key handover phases. Furthermore you will analyse the prospect base, looking for gaps in accounts or prospects lists and manage documentation of all sales activity. You will have demonstrable experience in solution-based and consultative sales in the business-to-business/online information industry at VP and Director level and above, with a proven track record in delivering against revenue-based targets. You will also have an appreciation of Internet and intranet applications and emerging technologies and industry trends. You will possess excellent presentation and communication skills, in particular presenting complex solutions and have the ability to use influencing strategies to gain commitment.
