New Business Sales Consultant (High-potential Customer Group) £40,000 Basic £65,000 OTE London & South East Ref. 1174
Our client is a leader in professional publishing and is a provider of pioneering online and software solutions. Our client’s products and services change the way the world shares information through a unique combination of authoritative content, powerful online research and advanced productivity tools, delivering vibrant solutions that transform organisations.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Group you will be responsible for prospecting, securing and implementing the full mix of products and services to a group of designated accounts within the Legal Sector. This role will predominantly focus on new business and accounts within this Customer Group have been identified as having high potential revenue growth. You will also use effective, structured sales plans and collateral to demonstrate to the customer how problems can be solved and value can be added to their business. In addition you will work alongside other stakeholder departments (e.g. editorial, training, marketing, credit control and business development) to ensure an integrated approach to customer care and to ensure market needs are being met.

You will have demonstrable new business-to-business sales achievement within a commercially driven environment as well as experience of targeting potential and prospect accounts. You will possess an excellent sales track record, having been responsible for the delivery of large revenue targets. You will also have demonstrable experience of building and maintaining excellent client relationships. Ideally you will have a background in information or a solution-sales background and you will also have excellent negotiation and communication skills.
